RainbowCrack

Based on the code developed by Zhu Shuanglei at Project RainbowCrack and research by Philippe Oechslin.
Platforms Supported:
PowerPC and Intel Based Macintosh Computers running MacOS X.
Primary Use:
Testing the password security implemented on various computing platforms. Very useful for professionals that provide penetration testing services.
Software Available:
A Macintosh computer with a PowerPC or Intel processor is required.
For users wish to experiment, the source code can be downloaded from here: Mac RainbowCrack Source (Updated with Endian Fixes-3/27/08).
Features of this version include:
- PowerPC assembly code;
- Better memory handling and faster table creation speeds (especially for MD5, NTLM, etc.);
- Additional algorithm support including mysql323, mysqlsha1 and ciscopix;
- Statically linked OpenSSL 0.9.8g in the binary version (see below).
